Apple Orchard
I'm going to rush and try to do a blog - Lucy is in the that - need to go to sleep - but too tired to fall asleep - so I want to cry but not really cry - mode - if you get my drift. Our plan is a nice bath and bottle and hopefully she is out for a chunk of time tonight!
Sometimes I have to set down Lucy randomly - this time it was in the middle of our living room so I could get a delivery at the door...and she loved it... There is literally nothing besides a chair and computer in this room and she was content for awhile. She looks so little just lying on the floor!
Chris believes that we lost our Husker game against UCLA because we weren't completely decked out in Husker gear. We had some on, but not enough in his mind. So this weekend - we took it further. Both Heidi and I had everything from red underwear to red bows. I guess it worked! Heidi doing her modeling! We signed Heidi up for gymnastics and when we went into the place - they asked us if Heidi was a cheerleader - ha!

Our neighbors were nice enough to invite us to a local apple orchard. It was a gorgeous day - almost too hot and fun to boot. You basically pay a small entry fee, take a wagon ride out to the orchards and can eat and pick as many apples as you want. Then you can also pack a bag full and pay a flat fee. Fun!
Hailey, Heidi and Bryn (Lincoln too) - enjoying the wagon ride. They really act like sisters. Heidi is OBSESSED with them and thankfully they are good sports and like playing with her. She loves to play with them!

Lucy still sleeping in the baby bjorn...
Chris and Joel discussing how many apples they both ate...the rumor was - Joel had 14... wow!
After picking apples, we tried their corn maze - it was HUGE and we ended up going out the entrance. Next time, we will pack a sandwich and make sure we don't have kids who run off down two different paths. I'm very surprised we didn't lose someone!
Enjoying the other attractions...
A couple final pictures - I always love the ciaos prior to a picture and then you somehow manage to get a decent one...
