Quick Water Fun

Our neighbors had a birthday party and it was hot enough to run around and play in the water! I hadn't taken any pictures yet this weekend, so might as well try to snap a few while they played!

Go figure it would finally be hot this summer when the kids are back in school! Heidi is loving 1st grade so far. Next week is the first full week of class. We will see how we will do!

Next weekend we have a special guest coming to play - Curtis! It will be a fun weekend! Now its time to prepare for the week and maybe do a little cleaning before he gets here!

We Have a 1st Grader!

Somebody was VERY excited to go to school today! Heidi has started 1st grade!  She looks so cute in her uniform! She wanted to wear the new blue skirt today and she said she is wearing the twirly jumper tomorrow! She is so cute. Her new teachers is awesome and I think we are going to have a great year!

Oktoberfest!

Happy Oktoberfest! We were clean - dressed nicely - so I took some pictures! Lucy is such a character...

Heidi finally decided to join in on the picture fun!

On to the festival! It was a beautiful day yesterday and perfect for Oktoberfest! It felt like fall! We got there early enough to snag good seats and it allowed the kids to dance before things got too crazy!

The traffic started to pick up - the kids still had a blast. Heidi did not leave that dance floor except for a couple of playground trips and Lucy was hamming it up for everyone.

We all had a really good time. We ended the night with some friends over and a nice fire pit. I was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans in the middle of August! I love it!

Heidi starts school this week!
