Volleyball of Course!

We had volleyball on Saturday but luckily it was at our own place, so it was just a quick 15 minute drive for us! Chris and I actually split the day to make it a little easier on us. Heidi's team played a little better and they almost won the silver championship. The coach is trying to shuffle things around and they are switching positions with people etc. I am just happy he isn't giving up on the team! Heidi did really well - I watched her score 5 aces in a row in one game and 6 in another. I was also proud of a moment she missed a hit but then next point came back and did a monster of one. I love to see her bounce back and be okay to make mistakes! Chris had a proud parent comment too as some other parents from other teams were talking about Heidi and how good she was playing, not realizing Chris was behind them. They were even asking where we live so Heidi could join their team - ha. We are very proud of Heidi...of course Heidi who won't pose for a picture at all!

Death look from a tween...

And with volleyball means we were trying our best to entertain Lucy.

Lucy also had a big weekend. She went to a birthday party for the first time in over a year! The family rented out a movie theater and did an amazing job keeping it safe. The kids sat three to a row spaced out and every other row. Lucy was very nervous to be around her friends and chose to sit off to the side by herself, but was still talking with them and interacting. She talked about the party all day yesterday. I think it was very good for her to get out and the kids were excited to see her!
