We saw the Sun!

On Friday, the girls did not have school because all the teachers, school volunteers, staff and CYO coaches were getting the vaccine... Lucy took full advantage of the day and enjoyed TV while eating gold fish. ha!

I mentioned that CYO coaches got the vaccine... that included me! I'm so excited to have the opportunity to get it. It has been stressful to see how each state is doing it differently. If we lived in Nebraska, we would have both qualified to get it because we have a high risk dependent we are care takers of... if we live in Mississippi - we would have gotten it because we are, well, chunky. Here is Ohio that isn't the case, but I became qualified because I am a CYO coach. Now we just need to get Chris the vaccine! I didn't have really any side effects, just a VERY stiff arm later that night, but it was back to normal by the next day. I feel like it is one step closer to being back to normal.

On top of the great vaccine, the weather was BEAUTIFUL this weekend. We played outside and actually felt the sun. We brought our remote control cars out and had some fun taking them through the last couple of remaining snow banks.

Then we just relaxed outside. Heidi rode her bike and actually played with her sister!

Chris made a variety of meat as well, which was delicious.

I don't know what was in the air, but they all were getting along...

The other great thing was Chris got the wet Roomba going and it was a game changer! It was so easy and wonderful! Our vacuum Roomba is all messed up. They pushed an software update that broke it. They are sending us a complete replacement BUT we won't get for another few weeks! After seeing how awesome the wet Roomba is - I want the vacuum one up and running now!

Sunday was even nicer than Saturday and we all took a 2 mile walk! Now we are all begging that Spring gets here!

The only other BIG BIG news is we are getting another dog! The girls have been asking for another one for a VERY long time. Chris joked about getting one last weekend and well...the idea was planted. The difference from finding Remy was I had already done the research and was part of special groups. A couple of private messages later - the Ohio breeder actually had a litter born Jan 21st and there were two male red rough coats available. Then she sent pictures and we couldn't say no! His name is NOT going to be Rusty - that is just how they keep the puppies apart. We are throwing around names and right now the girls want to keep the Disney rat theme and name him Rizzo after the Muppet Rizzo the rat. I think its pretty cute. I will post new pictures as I get them!
