Christmas!

I'm finally getting to posting about Christmas! If you are wondering - no we did not do Christmas cards this year - sorry! I got behind and never fulfilled my vision....a sample of one idea...

Christmas time in the Gonzales household! Heidi is so proud of her Christmas trees and both were excited!

We had snow before Christmas - I think it melted but now we are in winter wonderland - so much so - we might not have school tomorrow!

Heidi was very excited for Christmas and to have visitors! First up - Grandma Babs and Grandpa Darrell! Heidi showing off the cookies for Santa!

 Lucy was just excited to receive yogurt melts from Santa! :)

Heidi wanted to pose with every present - don't worry - I'm not going to post them all. Actually, the ciaos began and my pictures become all over the place!

It was also Taco's 11th birthday! Why are they wearing diapers - because they have started to mark their territory all over the house....awesome. Love when dogs get old!

One favorite toy for Lucy was a mini piano! She plays with it ALL the time! Its perfect size and very cute!

Its tradition for us that the tree in the family room is the "Santa" tree - then the tree in the office/living room is the what we bought and grandparents bought! We had SO many presents to open...Grandma Babs...

After presents we moved into making sugar cookies! We were a little behind on our cookie making as I had the stomach flu for 6 - yes - SIX - days before Christmas! So we didn't hand out cookies like we normally do!

Everyone was clean at the same time - so why not try to get some pictures....well we tried to get everyone looking!

 Lucy is in love with this tool table toy. She pulls up a chair and will play for a long time!

It was really good to have Grandma Babs and Grandpa Darrell up for Christmas and on the same day Nana and Grandpa Jeff arrived! Heidi was excited to have yet another Christmas!

I LOVE Lucy's new snow hat from Nana and Grandpa - its a little puppy dog and she has officially worn it every time we go out. love love love it!

Unfortunately, Nana got pretty sick while she was here and was locked away for awhile! Also the weather started coming in and they had to leave early! But we enjoyed their visit just the same!!! Its always nice to have visitors and family in town! One last moment between Nana and Lucy...

Lucy has graduated to the little table for meals. She LOVES to eat with Heidi and does pretty well with not knocking over her food....now feeding the dogs - we will have to work on that!

And we started off 2014 with some plumbing issues! YEAH! Our main shower was dripping into our vents and dripping down our family room wall. Not a TON of water but enough to be concerned! Well - a nice half day visit from the plumber and a chunk of money later - we are good to go! Now about that hole...
