Disney Day 3 - Hollywood Studios

Day 3 of our trip. We started off with some breakfast at the resort. Luckily they had a TV with Mickey cartoons the girls to wake up to. Then it was off to Hollywood Studios! It was a Saturday, so it was busy, but once again, we had our Fastpasses to get on rides and we even scored 4 more throughout the day. Besides using Fastpasses, we stayed away from like Toy Story Land and other extremely busy parts of the park.

I think this was the last moment Lucy wore Mickey ears.

Snack time!

Hollywood Studios just opened up a new attraction/meet n greet for Cars. It was really cute. Its half a giant animatronic car of Lighting McQueen and then the rest great video screens. It was fun to try something new!

We had a mission to keep trying things we haven't done before and one thing we have never done - not for any particular reason - was he Frozen sing-a-long show. I have to say, it was really funny. They have two cast members be members of the town and basically quickly tell the story of Frozen with of course stopping to let the crowd sing along. Some of the jokes went right over the kids heads and we were rolling. Well done. Heidi actually sang all the songs and had fun and no surprise Lucy was in heaven.

Dinner was at one of our favorite spots, Sci Fi Diner. I tried something new and had their Falafel burger. I want it again. I was SO good. Everyone always eats well here and its fun to eat in a car.

Even though it was Saturday, the things we wanted to do weren't bad at all. We were able to get a shaded table at the Baseline tap house, we rode plenty of rides and shows, pin traded a ton and had fun. We even got to run around the Pixar/Incredibles alley, which if you haven't seen the slow-motion video of Chris enjoying his dessert on Facebook...its entertaining.

As more and more rides get done at Hollywood Studios, like Mickey and Minnie's run-away railroad and oh yeah - that small project of Star Wars Galaxy Edge land - Hollywood Studios is going to be an epic park for sure!
