Memorial Day Weekend

The weekend was great! We are getting adjusted to having a dog again and a wild puppy! Training is just starting to begin and it is going to be a long road ahead of us for sure. He is adorable and naughty. He likes to nip and chew, that will be our #1 goal is to minimize that. The girls are learning how if they act a certain way, he will mimic that - good and bad. He "knock on wood" has actually been a good sleeper. Let's hope that continues and we can sleep well at night!

He had his first vet check up and the vet said he is great!

We tried to put on the harness and start walking him a little. He did actually ok. The plan is to do this daily and get him use to it. Plus, with Taco and Brew, I always trained them they could not go on the sidewalk or outside our yard unless they had a collar on. We are going to try the same method.

We did our first little break from the puppy and went to Fat Heads. He did great int he crate and the girls enjoyed their dessert.

We went forward with our Memorial Day party and honestly it work out well. There were enough kids to tire Remy out and he was able to hang out in his crate for a bit.

Today, I'm at the office and he is spending the day in his official large day crate. I just wonder what mess I'm going to come home to! I hope to leave a little early today just to help cut down on the time he will be in there.

He wasn't super thrilled to be in there... but it will take time!
