Volleyball and Cheer - What Else?

Our weekends and weeks are filled with volleyball and cheer. First, I met another work puppy, Cashew, who is a rescue greyhound and seriously the sweetest dog I have ever met. She leans on you when you pet her and she is rather large! I'm loving this new environment and the dogs are a big bonus!

Volleyball... We were at the new Cedar Point sports facility and it gets a 10 out of 10. It was SO nice, plenty of room to sit and you didn't have to fight for space. Things for the little kids to do AND they served alcohol. The girls played well in the beginning and made it to the gold round, but lost quickly after that. They were a little off, but still good.

This place had it all, rock climbing, playground, ninja course - everything!

The last cheer competition! This was Heidi's last cheer as she doesn't plan to continue on with cheer...tear...even though she is so good. It was a good competition and we finished second. Many people feel we got ripped off (including other teams - not just us), but I'm trying not to have those feelings. The team who won were really young and cute. They were definitely judged nicer than we were. It is what it is, good lesson for our girls.

Our Chant - Cheer - Chant - we had some bobbles in this one - but overall did well... Heidi is the one with the bun and in the middle most of the time.

Our dance - which we got ZERO deductions and had WAY more content than others... I was VERY proud of them for this one! Heidi starts in the back and then is in the front or middle for most of the time. Her jumps throughout the dance were impressive!
